When CME Federal Credit Union began in 1935, our mission was to serve the financial needs of first responders within the City of Columbus. While we continue to take great pride in serving the people who serve our communities, a lot has changed around central Ohio since we opened our doors. However, one thing that hasn’t is our commitment to improving the financial futures of our members. Today, we’re proud to extend that commitment to all in the central Ohio community.

MEMBER ELIGIBILITY
If you live, work, worship, volunteer, or attend school in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union counties, you can join. If you’re related to someone who’s a CME member, you can join…even if you don’t live in our geographic area. Plus, if you joined CME then moved out of the county OR even out of state, you’re still a member.

CME Federal Credit Union was established in 1935 by the City of Columbus Firefighters. A few years later, CME began serving employees of the City of Columbus Division of Police. CME then expanded to serve everyone in the Columbus area, including Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union counties.
Just visit any branch, give us a call, or apply online and make a minimum $5 deposit into your CME Advantage Share Account which represents your membership stake in this cooperative financial institution. Then, you can begin using all our accounts, services, and personal service!
