CME Federal Credit Union was established in 1935 by the City of Columbus Firefighters. A few years later, CME began serving employees of the City of Columbus Division of Police. CME then expanded to serve everyone in the Columbus area, including Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union counties.

Member Eligibility

If you live, work, worship, volunteer, or attend school in Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union counties, you can join. If you’re related to someone who’s a CME member, you can join…even if you don’t live in our geographic area. Plus, if you joined CME then moved out of the county, you’re still a member.

Just visit any branch, give us a call, or apply online and make a minimum $5 deposit into your CME Advantage Share Account which represents your membership stake in this cooperative financial institution.

Then, you can begin using all our accounts, services, and personal service to take your good life…and make it great.
