CME Federal Credit Union General Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations for Social Media
Official Rules: By entering this sweepstakes, participant agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions. No purchase necessary. Purchase will not increase your chances of winning. You must have internet access in order to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
1. Sponsor: The sweepstakes is sponsored and promoted by CME Federal Credit Union (“CME”) (“CMEFCU”)(“Sponsors”), 365 South 4th Street, Columbus, OH 43215
2. Prize: The number of prizes, description of prize, and value will be clearly listed on the sweepstakes notice social media post for each sweepstakes promoted by the Sponsor. A prize may not be transferred and must be accepted as awarded. A winner may not request cash or a substitute prize; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
3. One entry per person unless clearly listed on the sweepstakes notice social media post.
4. The winner(s) must be able to provide valid identification, which includes a valid photo ID, and meet all the sweepstakes requirements.
5. Entry Period: The entry period for the sweepstakes will be clearly listed on the sweepstakes notice social media post for each sweepstakes promoted by the Sponsor.
6. CME Federal Credit Union may change the terms and conditions of or cancel or suspend any sweepstakes without prior notice.
7. Eligibility: Must be a legal Ohio and US resident, 18 years of age or older. Employees of CME Federal Credit Union and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
8. Odds of Winning: Odds of winning each prize will be based on the number of eligible entries received.
9. Winner Selection: Winner(s) will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.
10. Winner Notification: Winner(s) will be notified via the social media outlet in which they entered. If a potential winner does not respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, the potential winner(s) will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner(s)may be selected based on the Sponsors discretion.
11. Claiming Prize: In some cases, winner(s)must be able to claim the prize by picking it up at a CME Federal Credit Union branch. This will be clearly listed on the sweepstakes notice social media post for each sweepstakes where this is required promoted by the sponsor. If winner(s) is unable to claim the prize within one week of notification, the winner(s) will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner(s)may be selected based on the Sponsors discretion.
12. Release of Liability: Winners release Sponsors and any other affiliates from liability for any loss or damage or claim of property related to the prize winner's participation in the sweepstakes and/or usage of the prize.
13. Winners are responsible for any costs not specifically included within the prize, including but not limited to, travel expenses, food and beverage, parking, etc. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner(s).
14. Publicity: By accepting the prize, winner(s) agrees and consents that the Sponsor may use and/or publish winner's full name and/or business name, city and state of residence, photographs, pictures, testimonials and/or verbal and written statements and comments made by winner(s)regarding the Sweepstakes or Sponsor, for any and all purposes, including, but not limited to advertising and promotion through the Sponsor’s website and any additional communication outlets (print, TV, electronic, radio, social media), without limitation, compensation, notice, review or approval.
15. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or affiliated by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Any information you provide is given to sponsors and not Facebook, Instagram or Tiktok. Entrants release Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok from any liability in connection with this sweepstakes. Direct any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes to Sponsor, not Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Participants should ensure they comply with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok’s terms of use.
16. Unless clearly listed on the sweepstakes notice social media post, this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or affiliated by the brand or company which the prize originates. Any information you provide is given to spon sors and not the brand or company from which the prize originates. Entrants release the brand or company from which the prize originates from any liability in connection with this sweepstakes. Direct any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Sweepstakes to Sponsor, not the brand or company from which the prize originates.
